Although fans of Demi Lovato continue to wait for new music, she hit Twitter this week to give another update about her songwriting and how Demi is approaching her new tracks.

Demi fans were given another musical bone this week when Lovato tweeted about a new song that she has in the works. Lovato hit Twitter to tease about what to expect from one particular song. “Writing a song that’s ridiculous,” said Lovato, “different from anything I’ve ever done….. so hot.”

Although there has been online buzz about the possibility of a new Demi tour this year, it’s hard to see how it will happen in less than six months without new music.

That’s right, Demi’s filming a music video today! I’m so excited, I wonder what song it would be for… Hopefully photos from the set and video stills will be released soon! This is what she wrote on Twitter:

Demi Lovato has had a tough year, but it appears that she is coming out of it stronger. Demi has left Disney behind and is now focusing on music, which is how she even got her own start. But now is Demi’s time to shine and share good news, which is exactly what she did.

Demi recently went to Twitter to share the good news that her album is almost completely done. Demi who has taken her time with it says that she is nervous, yet excited for it. It is her first big step in a comeback after her treatment from last winter, and has kept her fans eagerly waiting for news. Still no song titles, album titles, artwork or even a target date has been released yet.

Here’s what Demi tweeted:

“Just realized my album is almost finished and is coming out so soon…. wow… my mind just exploded with excitemen/nerves/joy/happiness!!”

I am so excited, I have feeling that this will be some of her best work to date. I think her feelings and emotions will likely surface during this album. Demi has stated that her music is a form of therapy, so I doubt that we can expect anything less from her. I really hope that this album will go back to her rock roots, I think that would help her healing process in a lot of ways. In my opinion Demi is never going to be Disney girl of sorts, just because she has too much edge that Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus wish they had. Sure, Demi was once a Disney darling but she has way may more to offer than what Disney provided her with.

Demi Lovato was spotted on the set of a photoshoot she tweeted about yesterday in New York. She looks gorgeous, check it out in the gallery!

We cannot wait for Demi’s upcoming album and 2011 comeback tour, and from the vague hints on her Twitter, I think she’s shooting outtakes for her comeback today!

This morning she tweeted:

“Rise & grind! Bout to go to an all day photo shoot.. Beyond excited! Can’t wait to tell you all what it’s for..”

Demi Lovato has reached out to tornado victims after severe weather continued to ravage the U.S. on Tuesday (May 24).

A spate of thunderstorms and tornadoes have hit southern states, including Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas – just two days after a powerful twister claimed more than 120 lives in Joplin, Missouri.

Demi was one of the first people to respond to the news, telling her followers on Twitter that she’s worried for pals in her home state of Texas.

She wrote:

“Please pray for the tornado victims.. Please.. The tornado… has just hit by (sic) best friend’s neighborhood… I’m really really nervous right now.. please pray.”

Demi Lovato entered treatment to battle an eating disorder and other emotional issues earlier this year, and now the starlet is speaking out about her struggles and the pressure people are under to lose weight.

Demi, who says she’s now happy and confident in her body, tweeted about a message she found negative in a Fiber-One commercial earlier this week.

Her tweets read: “Just saw a commercial for Fiber-One bars.. Their slogan literally was “Hungry, no. Results, yes.” Seriously.. What are we teaching people by saying that? Not to eat to see results? Really disappointed. Yes losing weight for some people can be healthy, but it’s commercials like that, that led me into thinking that not eating is okay. It’s NOT. There’s too much pressure on people these days to lose weight. Not okay.. #realtalk.”

She dropped the matter after her mini rant, and the poor thing is now sick in bed! She tweeted Monday: “Day 2 of being sick… Whatever this is is horrible. Can’t. Move.”

According to t33nsource, Demi Lovato is set to release her first single off of her upcoming 3rd album in July.

The name of the single will come across as a little “Deja Vu, The title has a feeling of warmth, love, and heart. You’ll feel it. and love it. Promised.
